01What we collect

When you browse the site

We do not ask you for any personal details to browse. We use cookieless analytics (see Section 2), which measures aggregate traffic without setting cookies or building a profile of you. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability; we do not use these to identify or profile individual visitors.

When you buy a Product

Checkout is operated by Whop (see Section 3). To complete your order, Whop collects the information it needs — typically your name, email address, billing and location details, and payment details. Whop shares with us the limited details we need to fulfil your order and keep records (for example, your name, email, and what you bought). We never see or store your full card details.

When you join The Inner Circle (members only)

The Inner Circle is a private community included with the Masterclass. To run it, we (via Supabase — see Section 3) store:

• Your email address — used to sign you in with a one-time “magic link” (there is no password) and to match your Masterclass purchase to your membership.
• A username and optional display name that you choose. Your username is visible to other members on anything you post.
• The content you post — threads, replies, and any images you upload. Please note that uploaded images are stored in a publicly-accessible location, so anyone with the image link can view the file; do not upload anything private.
• Community activity — such as your reputation score, upvotes, and any reports (flags) you submit — used to run features like ranks and moderation.

Access to the community is enforced at the database level and is limited to Masterclass members. Anonymous visitors cannot read member content.

02Cookies & analytics

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and referrers). It is cookieless, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an advertising profile of you. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels.

Essential login storage. If you sign in to The Inner Circle, we use a strictly-necessary session token (stored by your browser) to keep you logged in. This is required for the members area to work and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Checkout. When you open the checkout, Whop may set cookies that are necessary to process your payment and prevent fraud; those are governed by Whop’s own privacy notice.

03Third-party services (processors)

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run the site:

• Whop — our Merchant of Record and payment processor. Whop handles your purchase and payment, and processes your data under its own privacy policy.
• Supabase — hosts the database, authentication, and image storage that power The Inner Circle (your account, magic-link login, posts, uploads, and reputation). See Supabase’s privacy policy.
• Vercel — our web host and the provider of our cookieless Web Analytics. See Vercel’s privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — our typefaces are served from Google’s font CDN, which means your browser requests them from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

04How we use information

We use the information we receive only to:

• deliver your Product and give you access to what you bought;
• operate The Inner Circle — sign you in, show your posts and username to other members, and run community features like ranks and moderation;
• provide customer support and handle refund requests;
• keep records required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance;
• measure aggregate site traffic and protect against fraud, spam, and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have separately and clearly opted in to receive them.

05Legal bases (EU/UK)

If you are in the EU/UK, we process your data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver your Product and provide the members community you purchased); legitimate interests (to keep the site secure, prevent spam/abuse, and understand aggregate traffic in a privacy-preserving way); legal obligation (to keep tax and accounting records); and consent where required (for example, any optional marketing you opt into), which you may withdraw at any time.

06Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to support you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them. We keep your Inner Circle account and content while your membership is active; if you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and content as described in Section 7. Aggregate analytics are retained in non-identifying form. Whop and Supabase retain data under their own retention practices.

07Your rights & deleting your account

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights — including deleting your Inner Circle account and community content — email support@thefacelessempire.space and we will action your request. For data held by Whop as Merchant of Record, you can also contact Whop directly.

08Children

Our Products and community are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

09Changes

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
